ADDITIONAL VEHICLES

Additional vehicles are subject to a daily supplement and should be parked in the car park.

NO CHILDREN - WE ARE AN ADULTS ONLY CAMPING SITE

Please note that we love children but Oakfield Farm is an adults only campsite - many of our guests stay with us for this reason and so this rule also applies to all visitors (see below).

VISITOR POLICY

Please speak to us first if you wish to spend time here with adult family or friends that are not being accommodated on site. The farm is our home and we need to know who is coming and going for everyone’s security.

An additional charge is made for pre-arranged visitors.

Visitor parking is on the hard standing not in the camping fields and it is appreciated if they will make contact with us on arrival. Please remember we are an adult only campsite which also applies to visitors.

DOGS

We make no charge for dogs but, no matter what breed, they must always remain on a lead whilst on site and be cleared up after with no exceptions. This rule is strictly enforced for the benefit of all site users and to protect the farm animals and wildlife that live on site.

If you feel unable to observe pet rules then you will be politely asked to leave.

SITE FACILITIES

Electricity

We currently have 6A and 10A 240V electric hook-ups located around the different camping areas

Fresh Running Water

There are a number of fresh water taps around the site in various locations

Personal Hygiene Facilities

We do not have any showers or toilets so campers must have their own facilities

Black Waste

Black waste should be emptied in the Chemical Disposal Unit that is situated on the right as you enter the main camping field. There is also a water hose at the CDU.

Grey Water

Grey water can be recycled to water the young hedging in both camping fields. The farm is not on mains drainage and we like to recycle as much as possible. A grey water drain is also available next to the main farm building.

Recycling

We encourage all our campers to recycle their rubbish and have a recycling station just outside the office. Click here for more information on how and what you can recycle.

Wi-fi & Phone Reception

We do not currently offer wi-fi and some guests may find their phone signal is weak or not available due to our location

BBQ’s

BBQ’s or purpose built fire pits are acceptable but please avoid putting anything hot directly on the grass. A fire pit with Eco logs can be hired from us subject to availability.

LIGHTING

We choose to have no outdoor lighting (so you can see the stars), so a torch is advisable if walking around the site at night.

ENTRANCE SECURITY

Our entrance gate is secured each night at approximately 9.00pm until 8.00am. If you would like an access code then we will be happy to provide you with one if you are late getting back or have an early start - please note that the code is changed on a regular basis. Please secure or leave the gate open exactly as you find it on arrival/exit.

RESOURCES IN THE OFFICE

The office has a selection of leaflets with ideas for places to visit in the local area, together with directions to the local pub, The Beaufort Inn at Hawkesbury Upton!

Magazines and books are also available to borrow or exchange along with DVD’s to borrow.

A visitors book invites you to put in as much or as little feedback as you wish and is also an opportunity to share tips and places of interest for other visitors to enjoy.

Site rules are in addition to Camping and Caravanning Club rules.

We are usually on hand for questions until 8.00pm most days or you can contact us by e-mail or phone if you anything is not covered on this page.
